As announced before, at the beginning of this year, after almost two years of extensive works, we have completed the last stage of the hotel investment in Podzamcze near Ogrodzieniec, 4* POZIOM 511 Design Hotel & SPA. We proudly present the outcome of our efforts and a brief description of each element which adds to the unique, magic atmosphere of this venue.
Location
_511 stands out among other Polish hotels thanks to its exceptional location, design and offer. Situated in the direct vicinity of the Ogrodzieniec Castle ruins (150 m), _511 towers over the highest hill of the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland. The omnipresent beauty of nature allows the Guests to escape the daily routine and contemplate the serenity of the delightful surroundings.
Design
_511 represents a unique blend of late 20th century architecture with contemporary trends created by Tomaszk Wuczyński’s studio from Warsaw, grupa +. The hotel’s special location within the area of the Ogrodzieniec Castle which is subject to conservation protection entailed restraints imposing the external design, functional system and various aesthetic aspects. The shape and linear form were adjusted to the surrounding and the axes of the body correspond with the mountain slopes around the building. The pitched roof above the hotel entrance blurs the sharp boundaries between the exterior and the glazed hall.
Modernization works at the former youth hostel where the SPA centre and restaurants are located today respected the spirit of the past but simultaneously were focussed on ensuring highest comfort. The building retained the traditional form and original window arches. The natural limestone rock constitutes its axis, harmoniously blended with the usable areas.

This extraordinary venue offers 42 top class rooms within eight categories, from single to family suites. In order to ensure complete satisfaction of the Hotel Guests, coffee machines, mini bars, LCD TV sets, air-condition and free Wi-Fi connection are provided in all rooms. Every guest may select the size of their bed, mattress hardness, and choose between a bath and a shower cabin. This private space offers massage tables and chairs as well as Japanese Ofuro baths. During their visit at 511 SPA Parlour Guests may taste dishes and beverages from the exclusive SPA 511 Menu.

At POZIOM 511 Design Hotel & SPA the interior design impresses the visitors with its unique style and refinement. All details have been taken care of including the look of the Staff. One of the most renowned Polish designer, Ania Kuczyńska was invited to create a collection of exclusive clothes for the hotel personnel. The idea was to replace traditional uniforms with less official outfits which would reflect newest trends and emphasize the relaxed atmosphere of _511.
